How To Make Your Own Chocolate Sauce

You can make chocolate sauce from scratch using your very own chocolate that you also made from scratch.

First of all you need to make your chocolate clicking on the link will take you into How To Make You Own Chocolate Bar .

Once you have made your chocolate there will be a link at the bottom of the page to bring you back to this page.

Once your chocolate bar is set break it into pieces, put it in a heatproof bowl and re-melt it over a pan of hot (not boiling)  water, making sure that the bowl is not touching the water.
When it is liquid slowly add a ½ pint of whole milk and keep stirring, at first the
cold milk will make it start to set so put it back on the pan of water while you mix,
Keep mixing and mixing and mixing, the more you stir the smoother it gets.

You can rest from time to time because it will not set, but the object is to get it as smooth as possible. When you have it really smooth you will have a wonderful rich smooth chocolate sauce fit for any desert, don’t worry it will never set.

The beauty of this is that while you are mixing, or even afterwards you can add any flavouring that takes your fancy, rum, coconut or anything to make it your very own sauce and impress your dinner guests.
