King Prawns in Garlic Butter
camarones en mantequilla de ajo
Appetizers in Spanish cuisine hot or cold have become one of my favourite
foods, we only have one Spanish tapas restaurant where I live and I visit it as
often as I can.
I love the fact that you can order so many different small dishes to make up your meal.
This has inspired me to start a series of posts on Spanish Tapas food,
if you follow this blog you will be notified of each new post.
I am going to kick off with this very simple but wonderful dish King Prawns in Garlic Butter.
You will need;
1 tablespoon – Olive Oil
50 Gm – Butter
10 – Raw King Prawns
Salt to taste
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
2 - cloves Garlic (finely copped or crushed)
A handful of fresh parsley (finely chopped)
A handful of fresh parsley (finely chopped)
Melt the butter in a wok or large frying
pan and add the oil and the garlic.
Cook on a medium heat for about 2
minutes then add the prawns.
Fry for about 5 minutes until the prawns
turn pink.
Serve the prawns in a dish and drizzle
the gorgeous garlic oil and butter over, sprinkle with parsley, add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
If you are having friends over for tapas then you will want the full set, don’t forget to follow this blog to be
notified of the next post.
