Pork
Ribs with Chinese Style Barbecue Sauce
You
have to try this sauce it works with most meats, it’s a sharp barbecue sauce
with the mellow taste of honey.
I've
cooked these ribs in the oven but this recipe will work just as well on the
barbecue.
You will need;
1 - 750 Gm
Rack of Pork Ribs
For the sauce;
50 Ml –
Honey
1 teaspoon – English Mustard
1 teaspoon – English Mustard
50 Ml – Worcester Sauce
100 Ml – Rice Wine
50 Ml – Water
2 teaspoons – Corn Flour
100 Ml – Rice Wine
50 Ml – Water
2 teaspoons – Corn Flour
Put
all the ingredients for the sauce into a bowl except for the water and corn
flour, and mix well.
Place
in a small saucepan and put on a high heat, mix the corn flour with the water
and stir well then add to the pan stirring it in well.
When
it begins to bubble take it off the heat and let it cool enough to thicken.
Coat the
rack of ribs generously with the sauce and leave for 30 minutes.
Preheat
your oven to 200 degrees, put in the ribs for 35 minutes.
When the
ribs are done heat the leftover sauce, drizzle over and serve.
